Wolfy was an Eastern European street dog. He's possibly a husky cross, or more likely an Akita cross due to his 'grouchy and moody temperament
He is alpha male here, but only by default(!) as he's Spritie's mate; she chose him the moment she laid eyes on him! After some initial resistance from the Count Wolfy, (only because it hurt his ego... he's terribly vain, and took great offense to being mounted by her without his prior permission!) he finally conceded...and thus began the months of 'dingbat attack'... As soon as Spritie would emerge from her crate he'd leap upon her and shower her with kisses and play bites! He's cooled off quite a bit since then, and isn't really very demonstrative of his affections, but Spritie adores him anyway. It's done him a lot of good, as he used to think he was Casanova of the dog world before she came along... he still thinks he's the boss, and she lets him! We love him no matter what... but you have to admit - he is terribly handsome!

Wolfy has an adorable way of jumping and skipping. When he gets excited and thinks he’s getting a treat, he skips and hops rapidly almost like a lamb, it’s so terribly cute!

Wolfy is a permanent resident here firstly because he's Spritie's mate, and also because he's very skittish, and thus quite unpredictable; he's also very suspicious of men he doesn't know and has been known to try and bite(!) and he also doesn't like children, so he will stay here with us as the HHH pack member; his issues do not make him suitable for adoption.
