Sanctuary & Rehabilitation Centre for Abused and Unwanted Dogs

(Charity no. XT39298)

Sparky

It all started in 2010, when a small stray dog came into our lives and stole our hearts, and changed our world forever... He was a friendly, playful little fellow and we named him Sparky.

After he had been with us for a while however, we felt he really needed a friend to play with... To cut a long story short, in the quest to find him a playmate, one thing led to another, and before we knew it - we had a house full of rescued dogs!

So, two years later, we decided we might as well just make it official and set up a charity... And the rest is history as the saying goes.

Some of the dogs

We run our little Charity from our home so all the dogs live with us in the house - as you can probably imagine - instead of furniture, we have doggie beds, doggie toys, 'blankies', 'noo-noos', pillows, cushions... And a huge amount of dog hair everywhere... Yes, it's complete madness - but in an enormously fun, delightful, and ridiculously playful, albeit exasperating (not to mention very noisy sometimes) sort of way!
